A Recipe for Great Mentorship:

JWI’s August Meeting: On Saturday, August 1, 2026, JWI held its fourth mentor meeting of the year, featuring guest speakers from VTA Bus Technical Training and the ATU International Workforce Development Department. The session focused on discovering every mentor's core "WHY" and reviewing correct procedures for submitting occurrence reports. Workforce development Coordinators from ATU International gave updates on Labor-Management Partnerships (LMPs) and workforce programs across the US and Canada. To close out the meeting, mentors led an engaging team-building activity where participants created their own "recipes" for what makes a great mentor.
