Historic Stakeholders' Meeting

WIN (Workforce Investment Network) peer mentors, Golden Gate Transit and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1575 leadership attended the annual apprenticeship stakeholders meeting held at the College of Marin. Also in attendance were California Transit Works, College of Marin and Santa Rosa Junior College (SJRC) staff, and John Dunn from the Bay Area Community College Consortium.

The attendees went over the progress made in the last year and discussed what is working and what needs to be improved. They presented an overview of the program, best practices, and building and implementing the apprenticeship program. SRJC did a presentation on the Pre-Apprenticeship Program and we ended with the road ahead and what to expect.
