On June 16, 11 coordinators from across California came together via Zoom for the third CTW Statewide Peer Mentor Coordinators Caucus Meeting of the year. At the March 23 Leadership Team meeting, Sue and Shandis recognized members of the RAMP 22 leadership team with their California Transit Works Northern California Conference patches and congratulated them on the outstanding partnership work accomplished throughout 2025. The meeting also marked an exciting leadership transition as Coach Operator Phil Mendoza stepped into the role of coordinator. Phil shared his vision of strengthening relationships between operators, supervisors, and management while fostering a more positive workplace culture focused on helping new operators succeed. His commitment to uplifting people and creating an environment where employees can thrive reflects the core values of the partnership and mentorship program. |

Building the Future Together
Inaugural CTW Northern California Regional Conference
The first Northern California Regional Conference brought together partners, leaders, and frontline professionals for a day of collaboration, creativity, and shared vision. Hosted by Golden Gate Transit and ATU Local 1575, the conference was held at the Bill and Adele Jonas Center at the College of Marin, a valued partner with Golden Gate Transit in the Bus Operator Apprenticeship program. The day opened with an exciting announcement: the first-ever combined ATU Local and Agency Management caucus would be held that afternoon.
