The San Mateo County Transit District is the administrative body for the principal public transit and transportation programs in San Mateo County: SamTrans bus service, including Redi-Wheels & RediCoast paratransit service, Caltrain commuter rail and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority.

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest mentors! They’ve been equipped with essential tools to guide the next generation of bus operators embarking on their careers with SamTrans. 2024 Mentors Moving Forward
The 2024 Moving Forward Event was a tremendous success. HRTP’s from all over the country participated. One of the activities was the 2024 Commitment to Actions. The individual HRTPs were invited to develop, list, and present some of the things they want to accomplish in 2024. Several of them were recorded. SamTrans' commitments are shown below.
