Metro's mission is to provide the best possible public transportation services and improve regional mobility and quality of life in King County. King County Metro is the largest transit agency in the Puget Sound. Metro provides bus, paratransit, vanpool, and water taxi, and on-demand services, and operates the Seattle Streetcar, Sound Transit Link light rail and Sound Transit Express bus service.

​The 2024 Moving Forward Event was a tremendous success. HRTP’s from all over the country participated. One of the activities was the 2024 Commitment to Actions. The individual HRTPs were invited to develop, list, and present some of the things they want to accomplish in 2024. Several of them were videoed, King County' commitments are shown below.
